The Strother
Field Airport/Industrial Park is a 1600 acre industrial park with numerous
industrial site available, located on US Highway 77 midway between Cowley
Countys two primary cities, 5 miles north of Arkansas City and 5
miles south of Winfield. With over 30 manufacturing and service related
occupants, Strother Field is home to companies such as General Electric
Engine Services, Elevator Solutions Inc., Morton Buildings, Greif Inc., Winfield Consumer
Products/Husky Liners, Central Plains Book Manufacturing, Plastic
Products Group, Inc. (formerly KSQ Blowmolding),
Quick Pick Distribution and numerous others. The industrial park is located
on US Highway 77 and is only 20 minutes from Interstate I-35. The airport
is one of the best of its kind in the region and has recently completed
a $1.75 million runway improvement project, making it one of the most
modern small airports in the Midwest. Strother Field is also proud to
include the Cowley County Workforce Development Center and the Kansas
Dept. of Human Resources, which can provide human resources needs for

Goff
Industrial Park
Goff Industrial
Park is a 450 acre park located just outside the city limits of Arkansas
City. Tenants of this industrial park include Creekstone Farms,
a major food processing facility employing over 500, and Northern
Contours. The City of Arkansas
City has invested in major improvements to the roads, water, and sewer
services at this site. Sites are also available for new construction ranging
in lots from 1 to 75 acres at prices considerably below that of metropolitan
areas. Water is served by the City of Arkansas City and gas and electric
are provided by Westar Energy/Kansas Gas Service. The industrial park
is located less than one mile from US Highway 77 and is only 20 minutes
from Interstate I-35.

Winfield
Industrial Parks
Located on
the east side of Winfield, the Winfield Industrial Park is home to over 10 industries
including Galaxy Tool, Webster Manufacturing, S&Y Industries, Nelson
Machine and Welding, and Clock Medical Supply. Other corporate members of the Winfield family of industries
include Rubbermaid Home Products that completed a 500,000 sq.ft
expansion, and St. Gobain-Calmar, another injection and blow molding.
The Utt Business/Industrial Park
was developed adjacent to the Winfield Industrial Park by the City of
Winfield in 2005 to provide additional sites for quality business office,
technological and industrial development. The first tenant is
Schwan's Distribution Center. The 55 acre site is
zoned to M-1 Light Industrial and platted to
promote and maintain the highest and best use of lots commensurate with
the development objectives of the City.
Covenants for the Park were designed to create
a cohesive development providing opportunities for individual needs and
creative design for each project. The Park is located adjacent to
Highway K-360 and approximately 3 miles from Highway 77. Utilities
to this park are offered by the City of Winfield, at rates that you will
find are quite competitive.
