Educational Opportunities in Cowley County

Cowley College

Cowley College and the Workforce Development Center located at Strother Field, have developed cooperative employee training programs for companies such as General Electric, Rubbermaid and Boeing in Wichita. Through their center at Strother Field, they can offer numerous services to make the employment and recruitment process easier. The center is truly a “One Stop” center for your employment and business needs.

Southwestern College

Cowley County is also home to Southwestern College, a private four year college, which offers a wide variety of degree programs including undergraduate and graduate level degree completion programs. The Center For Rural Entrepreneurship has also been developed on the campus to assist with business start-up or other related needs.
